UPI outage: A number of customers say transactions failing; NPCI says working to resolve ‘intermittent technical points’

Unified Funds Interface (UPI) companies have been affected with a number of stories of failure of transactions from throughout the nation.
The Nationwide Funds Company of India (NPCI), which manages the UPI operations, acknowledged the outage and mentioned that it was working to resolve the problem, hours after a number of customers flagged the problem.

Some customers reported that they obtained the error message “Recipient’s financial institution community is down. You’re not capable of make fee to your recipient’s financial institution.
