Uttarakhand college apologises after woman compelled to take away tilak

RISHIKESH: A woman was not allowed to enter her classroom in a faculty right here with out eradicating a tilak from her brow, prompting her dad and mom and Hindu outfits to stage a protest, following which the principal needed to supply an apology. The Class-8 pupil was requested by her trainer on Wednesday to take away the tilak from her brow, saying it was not allowed within the college.
