YSRCP chief V Vijayasai Reddy on Saturday resigned as a member of Rajya Sabha and introduced he was quitting politics as a consequence of “private causes”, the fourth social gathering MP to short-terminate their phrases within the Higher Home since its rout within the 2024 Meeting elections.

He met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at his residence and submitted his resignation.

Vijayasai Reddy, an elected Member of the Council of States (Rajya Sabha), representing the State of Andhra Pradesh, resigned his seat within the Rajya Sabha and his resignation has been accepted by the Chairman, Rajya Sabha w.e.f, twenty fifth January, 2025,” Rajya Sabha Secretary-Basic P C Mody mentioned within the notification.
