“I’m shocked and deeply saddened on the loss of life of a younger woman in an explosion at Barochandgar in Krishnanagar police district. My prayers and ideas are with the household of their hour of grief,” the CM wrote within the submit.
Banerjee added that the Police shall take sturdy and decisive authorized motion towards the culprits on the earliest.

Talking to ANI, concerning the loss of life of the teenage woman as a consequence of an explosion in Kaliganj, BJP chief Agnimitra Paul stated, “If the folks of West Bengal vote for social gathering of goons, rapists, anti-socials and allow them to kind the federal government, then these incidents are certain to occur. This (TMC) is a celebration of the anti-socials. They gained the Kaliganj Bypolls by dishonest and threatening. They have been celebrating their victory with actual bombs. Kaliganj’s Bypoll
Trinamool Congress candidate Alifa Ahmed registered a large win within the bypoll to the Kaliganj Meeting constituency in Nadia district of West Bengal. The Election Fee of India (ECI) declared her the winner after 23 rounds of counting have been accomplished. She gained with a margin of 49,755 votes.
As per the ECI, Ahmed has secured 1,02,179 votes, BJP’s Ashish Ghosh got here within the second place with 52,424 votes, adopted by Left Entrance-supported Congress candidate Kabil Uddin Shaikh at 28,262 votes. The fourth place has been secured by NOTA at 2,500.
Bypoll to the Kaliganj was necessitated by the demise of Nasiruddin Ahmed in February this yr.
