“Will Not Be Silenced By Terrorism”: Shashi Tharoor As He Leaves For US

We do not need indifference to conquer the reality. It is a mission of peace. It is a mission of hope. And it is a mission that may in the future remind the world that India stands for all of the values we have to protect on this planet in the present day of peace, of democracy, of freedom, and never of hatred, killing and of terror. Mr Tharoor, together with different MPs from Group 5, will go to the US, Guyana, Panama, Brazil, and Colombia.
The delegation was earlier briefed by Overseas Secretary Vikram Misri relating to the agenda of the worldwide outreach being achieved to current India’s place towards terrorism. MP Tharoor talked about that the purpose of the delegations can be to sensitise opinion in direction of India.
“We’re assembly authorities officers, legislators, assume tanks, and media and have public interplay. We’re actually going to attempt to speak to everyone.
