Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday criticised Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) MLA Sanjay Gaikwad over his viral video by which he was seen slapping a canteen worker.

Terming his actions “inappropriate”, Chief Minister Fadnavis acknowledged such behaviour sends fallacious message about legislators to public.

“Such conduct doesn’t ship proper message. MLA Sanjay Gaikwad’s behaviour is inappropriate and creates a unfavorable notion about all legislators among the many public,” Chief Minister Fadnavis mentioned.

It was learnt the Buldhana legislator was sad with the standard of meals served on the MLA visitor home canteen.
