Congress holds nationwide ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ to help armed forces

The rallies come within the wake of India launching cross-border strikes on 9 targets in Pakistan, which the federal government described as a “non-escalatory” and “precision-based” response aimed solely at dismantling terrorist hideouts.

The strikes have been a part of Operation Sindoor, initiated in retaliation for the Pahalgam assault that left 25 Indians and one Nepalese citizen, most of them vacationers, lifeless.

Regardless of India’s efforts to maintain the response restricted and focused, Pakistan retaliated with a barrage of drone and missile assaults on the evening of seven Could, all of which have been efficiently intercepted and neutralised by the Indian Military.

Addressing a press convention in New Delhi, Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak praised the armed forces for his or her braveness and professionalism.
