Farmers’ protest: Haryana suspends web in Ambala for the weekend

The Haryana authorities on Friday, suspended cell web and bulk SMS service in 11 villages of Ambala district until 9 December.

The suspension was remodeled apprehensions of ‘pressure, annoyance, agitation and disturbance of public peace’ as a bunch of farmers are marching for Delhi with a requirement of minimal help value for crops.

The ban was enforced in Dangdehri, Lohgarh, Manakpur, Dadiyana, Bari Ghel, Lhars, Kalu Majra, Devi Nagar, Saddopur, Sultanpur and Kakru villages of Ambala on Friday, at 12 midday.

The companies will stay suspended until 11:59 p.m. on 9 December, in response to the order issued by extra chief secretary (dwelling) Sumita Misra.

A jatha (group) of 101 farmers has launched into a foot march to Delhi at 1 p.m. on Friday from their protest web site on the Shambhu border between Punjab and Haryana.

A heavy deployment of safety personnel has been made on the Haryana aspect of the border.
