India's Industrial Manufacturing Information Multi-Month Excessive Of 5.2% In November

New Delhi: The Index of Industrial Manufacturing (IIP) progress fee for the month of November 2024 is 5.2 per cent (a multi-month excessive), which was 3.5 per cent the month prior, fast estimates launched by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation confirmed Friday.

The expansion charges of the three sectors, Mining, Manufacturing and Electrical energy in November 2024 have been 1.9 per cent, 5.8 per cent and 4.4 per cent, respectively. The Fast Estimates of IIP stands at 148.4 towards 141.1 in November 2023. The Indices of Industrial Manufacturing for the Mining, Manufacturing and Electrical energy sectors in November 2024 stood at 133.8, 147.4 and 184.1, respectively.

The fast estimates of IIP are launched on twelfth of each month (or earlier working day if twelfth is a vacation) with a six weeks lag and compiled with knowledge obtained from supply companies, which in flip obtain the information from the manufacturing factories/ institutions. Friday’s fast estimates will endure revision in subsequent releases as per the revision coverage of IIP.
